Hello Everybody,
I have 3 schools that I nee you to recommend one for me from them. 2 of them are in Canada and one in south Africa. I really like you to recommend one for me base on your knowledge and experience. 1- Toronto Airways 2- African Union Aviation Academy 3- Winnipeg Aviation Please let me know which one you recommend and why. Also which one would be better and easier to convert to Egyptian license. |

Stay away from all schools in South Africa.as lion said
Toronto is a good school and yes it will be easy for your to convert.and easier if its FAA than JAA if you might plan in US, see my post here فرصة لتجربة تعلم الطيران مجانا في الولايات المتحدة |

Thank you both lion and Cap86.
But could you tell me why you said to stay away from South Africa. The AUAA looks a professional school. My only concern is that weather in Canada is bad in January and February which may delay my training. I have a limited budget so I need to finish my training as soon as possible. Please guys I need advice from people who went to Canada or Toronto specifically. Regards, |

well i told you to stay out of SA for many reasons one of them is racial issues which was so clear recently in SA.and some of the students who went their told me this themselves.also the quality of the academy is rated among SA,but worldwide no its not that good.

Thanks CAP86 for clarifying. my budget is the stated by both schools, they are the same with different currencies. I can spend up to 40 to 45 American dollars for training and accomodation. anyway I think Toronto would be a good choice.

well yes its the best among the 3 of them.anyway if you are interested in studying US let me know.
also make sure of the total hours and license type in toronto and if training is on G1000 or not All the best |

I selected Toronto and I'll proceed with it isA. Am not sure if G1000 but they have 2 programs one for cessna 150 and the other for cessna 152 . The 150 program is more expensive by 5000 canadian dollars. I'll appreciate it if anybody told me what is the difference between both aircraft. Is cessna 150 that better than the 152 ?? for the multiengine: in 150 program they use Piper Seminole where in the 152 they use Piper Seneca. which one is better for the multiengine as well. Note: The total hours are 215 hours . I'd like you to evaluate the course according to the information provided . Thanks alot. |

Thanks alot. i have replied on your personal inbox on the forum.. i would give it 3/10 215 hours no way,,thats too low and now what it takes is G1000s see the link below as an example for how important G1000 and 250 hours or more are important Title: First Officer Description: · Hold ATPL issued by any ICAO contracting State, · 45 years or less when joining, · 1500 hrs total flying hours on turbine engine aircraft with a maximum T/O weight of 20000 Kgs. or more and · Minimum of 250 hours on A320 type. · Clearance certificate from civil aviation authority who issued the pilot license that the applicant had not been involved in any incident/accident Note: Crew without minimum experience on A320 should have minimum of 250Hrs. in glass cockpit aircraft and the link is https://www.jazeeraairways.com/JobOpe...id=yO2z9c4DsNU= think twice before you pay :protest: |

I haven't read the private message yet I'll do soon. what about the cessna 150 VS 152 ???? Also regarding my budget I think that is my best available choice now. I don't need some cheap school with low quality . Regards, |
