Update V3.2, includes the following changes:

- Support for Prepar3D. More on this another time!

- Airline logos for the major AI packages are now included, and selectable by AI package in the settings notebook. You can still add your own or use your own collection, but if the standard ones meet your needs there's no need to go to all the trouble of downloading and installing them separately. You can also choose the logos to use (by AI package) in the configuration wizard that shows up when you install STB for the first time.

- Speaking of the configuration wizard, this is significantly improved both in terms of looks and functionality. For those that like to run STB on a separate computer to FSX, the wizard will now create all the necessary configuration files including simconnect.cfg. Under most circumstances, you never need to worry about the content of those files to get STB talking to a separate FSX.

- We moved up from the ancient clickteam installers on to InstallSheild, which is a much more pleasent end user experience.

- In case you no longer wish to use STB and deinstall it, there's an automatic deinstallation process that can delete STB files and remove the unique configurations made to FSX on STB's behalf. This is also true for the STB-DS application.

- The shared folder between FSX and STB when each are running on separate computers is no longer required. Previously this was used to load flight plans for AI aircraft, for instance during the "Depart Now" command. However STB-DS can now do this directly on the FSX computer at the request of STB. The share was the My Documents/Flight Simulator X Files folder.

- The View AI command is also now implemented by STB-DS when FSX and STB are running on separate computers . The net effect of this is the chosen AI aircraft appears in the main FSX much faster than before, where STB had to send many view commands over the network to FSX. This means you are much less likely to see other AI aircraft show up before the one you are interested in is reached.

- STB-DS also has a configuration wizard, that runs the first time after installation and any time you wish it to from the user interface. As per STB, the STB-DS wizard will automatically configure simconnect for you (the simconnect.xml) file so once more you are unlikely to be concerned with the contents of that file.

- And the usual collection of bug fixes as reported by users.

As you can see, we invested a lot in improving the infrastructure and configuration experience, and in particular the work required to make STB work on a separate computer to FSX is a great deal easier than before. Many pages were dedicated to this in the user guide, now it's about half a page!

There's still a couple of things to take care of, plus plenty of quality assurance to do so it will be a little while yet but it is most definitely a "this year" project!
