Misr flying college was established in 1932 To Serve Egypt air community.
  • Misr flying school was established on 7th. May 1932 after issuing the Royal Decree to set up Misr Flying Company. It was mainly Talaat Harb idea to form a wide staff of pilots to fly Egyptian aircraft with Egypt's name and flag
  • Since 1932, Misr Flying College has been graduating Egyptian and foreign pilots.
  • In 1971, Presidential Decree issued for establishing the National Civil Aviation Training Organization (NCATO), to include Misr Flying College.
  • During 2006 , the Egyptian Aviation Academy ( EAA ) was thought to be established and administrated by the National Civil Aviation Training Organization ( NCATO ), considered Misr Flying College ( MFC ) one of its colleges .
  • During 2007 , Misr Flying College ( MFC ) , coordinating with the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority ( ECAA ) under supervising the International Civil Aviation Organization ( ICAO ), the college was certify as a regional flying training centre in the Middle East region in accordance with the most sophisticated international civil aviation programs .
  • The Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA) has granted the Misr Flying College approval to operate as an organization that conducts courses of pilot training in accordance with its Approved Pilot School Certificate and Training Specifications and Comply with ICAO Annex 1, Appendix 2 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation and meet all relevant Sections of ECAR Part 141 of the Egyptian Civil Aviation Regulations.
  • MFC staff carry out their duties in accordance with the terms of the organization’s to meet the requirements of their ECAA approved training course; It also gives guidance to students on how to conduct themselves during their course of study.
  • MFC has access to the latest figures and trends in the aviation industry and also work with ICAO Experts who work in, or with Aviation companies around the world. To ensure our courses are regularly evaluated and updated to the latest knowledge.
  • MFC College Offers:
  1. MFC provide the basis of the trainee’s future and Courses conduct of operations with their airline as Qualified Pilots.
  2. MFC courses, depending on your training requirements, ensure the expeditious and safe conduct of training in a short period of time.

  • Training Effectiveness MFC offer The Jeppesen Integrated Private Pilot / Instrument / Commercial Pilot / Multi Engine Rating Program who is designed to graduate highly skilled pilots who are ready for the real world of commercial flight operations.
    Graduates of the Jeppesen integrated program can be confident to have the skills and the knowledge that the Aviation industry needs.
    The aim of this program to provide the most efficient and up-to-date training methodologies to highly motivated candidates wishing to pursue successful careers as flight crewmembers in commercial air transportation, in an atmosphere closely as possible to the operational procedures and processes of modern airlines.
    Also offer Modular Pilot Training. The aim of the modular pilot training program is to provide professional pilot training to students who wish to pursue ECAA licenses and ratings only. In addition, modular training applies also to the ATPL Knowledge Course.

MFC Comprehensive Training Modules From the first lesson onward, our focus is directed to this one goal. You will not only learn how to deal with the complexities of air flight, but we also ensure that you are trained in the practical operations of the airline business. You will learn how to handle checklists and forms to the same degree as actually flying in accordance with stipulated, standardized procedures.
Pilot training at MFC is not laid out in daily, weekly or monthly programs as might be the case in an aviation college or university; rather, it is organized in Lesson Time Allocations divided into phases of accomplishment called Stages and illustrated in tabular format in the relevant training syllabus through Many Stages
MFC Professionals with extensive experience as Instructor Our training courses were developed by Airline Pilots so that students of our training facility receive training by professional airline pilots as instructors — therefore learning from their future colleagues. All flying and theory instructors look back on many years of professional experience — our team also consists of aeronautical meteorologists and active line pilots or air controllers.
MFC Top Training Equipme Our G – 1000 glass cockpit simulation cabins provide an excellent introduction to the complex integrated airline cockpits which our cadets will be flying in after the completion of their training.


  • MFC Training Fleet of Modern Aircraf
    Our training facilities are based in the town of October, which is located just 40 Kilometers west of EGYPT capital city of Cairo. The MFC is using their fleet of modern aircraft for training purposes. The choice of available aircraft is very broad and ranges from the Cessna-172 two seated to the Bonanza and Commander up to the light twin aircraft Beech craft Baron – 55 / 58, which incorporates the latest avionics technology . Our student training fleet comprises of a total of 28 aircraft.
Type-Rating Training
No matter whether you already have experience in flying and are owner of a pilot’s license or you are sitting behind the controls of an aircraft for the first time; MFC is the right choice when it comes to type-rating. We operate a full flight simulator of the latest technology at our facility.
MFC Learning Technology and Equipment
Our spacious classrooms are fully equipped for traditional and computer-based training and internet access is readily available to all students. Furthermore, students stay mobile by using laptops and specialized course for type-rating.

Simulator training is integral to our Pilot Training Courses. We offer a unique service in the provision of high quality type-rating training and incorporate Standard Operating Procedures of individual airlines into our teaching curriculum.
MFC Facilities and Services
Our training centre is integrated into a large business complex where additional facilities such as conference rooms, a copy shop, internet services and office space are provided. In total there is approx. 2300 m2 space available. A hotel with special rates for our students and customers. Other hotels are located in the vicinity of the college site or numerously available in the city of Cairo.
Credit for Previous Experience
A trainee may be given credit towards the curriculum requirements of a course for previous pilot experience and knowledge as follow:

a) If the credit is based upon an ECAA or FAA Part 141-approved training course, the credit given that student for the previous pilot experience and knowledge may be 50 percent of MFC curriculum requirements and must be based upon a proficiency test or knowledge test, or both, conducted by MFC.
b) If the credit is not based upon an ECAA or FAA Part 61, the credit given that student for the previous pilot experience and knowledge shall not exceed more than 25 percent of the MFC curriculum requirements and must be based upon a proficiency test or knowledge test, or both, conducted by MFC.

EAA / MFC has been recognised by ICAO as a regional training center for flying training
