Dear Candidate,
Etihad Airways is pleased to inform you that your first stage of assessment for Cadet Pilot Programme will be held at 8:30 a. m. on 23rd July 2009 at the Etihad Training Academy in Abu Dhabi, U. A. E. (For your reference, please find attached map of Etihad Airways Training Academy).
Registration will commence at 8:30 a. m. promptly. Failure to arrive before 8:30 a. m. will result in no admittance for the day.
Please see below details and information of the assessment day:
Ø The assessment will last approximately 4 hours and will consist of 6 Aptitude Tests; there will be no interview on this day.
Ø Our policy is not to provide any further details about the tests.
Ø Travel arrangements to the assessment location will be your responsibility; Etihad Airways will not reimburse or pay for your transportation, visa and travel costs.
Ø Etihad Airways does not provide any letters or formal invitations for the purpose of visa issuance.
Ø The reception desk at the Academy will direct you to the assessment venue on the date of the assessment.
Ø The assessment is one day only and you will not be required to stay any extra days.
Ø Please bring your original passport for identification purposes.
Ø You are not required to bring with you any educational or training certificates at this stage.
Ø You are not required to bring with you any equipments or stationary to the assessment.
Ø Depending on your results, Successful OR Unsuccessful e-mail will be sent to you one week after the assessment.
Ø Successful candidates will receive an invitation to attend a second stage assessment which will be held in Etihad Airways Head Office in Abu Dhabi; all travel costs and accommodation will be arrange and pay by Etihad Airways.
Please ensure you have read and understood the full details of the programme as listed on our website (please refer to the advert attached).:
Ø You are aged between 17 and 26. (Your 27 birthday should not be before July 1st 2009.
Ø You are not currently a holder of a CPL and Frozen ATPL
Ø You have an accredited secondary school diploma or higher with proven pass grades in Physics, Mathematics and English. (Certificates are not required at this stage)
Ø If you have been assessed previously for the Cadet Pilot Program at Etihad Airways, please ensure 6 months have passed from your final date of assessment.
Ø You understand your financial responsibilities should you be successful (please refer to the cadet pilot advert attached).
