Gulf Air in summer 2018 season is expanding its operational network, including service resumption. Planned new (including resumed) routes include the following.

Bahrain – Baku eff 12JUN18 5 weekly A320
Bahrain – Bangalore eff 01MAY18 1 daily A320/321 (Previously served until January 2010, previously reported)
Bahrain – Borg el Arab eff 10JUN18 3 weekly A320 (Previously served until October 2011)
Bahrain – Casablanca eff 11JUN18 5 weekly A330-200 (787-9 operating from 09JUL18. Previously served until March 2005)
Bahrain – Kozhikode eff 15JUN18 1 daily A320
Bahrain – Sharm el Sheikh eff 16JUN18 2 weekly A320
Bahrain – Tabuk eff 15JUN18 5 weekly A320, subject to Government Approval
The airline also revised planned Boeing 787-9 service debut, which now schedules on 01MAY18, Bahrain – Jeddah route, scheduled until 14JUN18. The 787 is also scheduled to operate Bahrain – Dubai on 05MAY18 and 06MAY18, Bahrain – Riyadh on 11JUN18 and Bahrain – Moscow Domodedovo on 13JUN18.
