"Independent Technologies, Inc. suffered a tragic loss on Tuesday December 27th2016 when our President, Daryl Ingalsbe, died in a plane crash near his home in Spruce Creek, Florida". We offer our sincerest condolences and prayers to Daryl's family, friends and his family of employees.
The New London-Spicer School District confirmed that Deb Solsrud, who was involved in the activities of the school district, was the other person aboard the plane, TwinCities.com reported Wednesday.
Investigators were at the crash scene Wednesday afternoon documenting the wreckage and the scene, searching for clues to the crash cause.
The aircraft stalled while trying to land, said officials with the Volusia County Sheriff's Department.
The plane is owned and manufactured by Independent Technologies, which lists Daryl Ingalsbe as the company's owner and CEO, the newspaper added. The other victim was Deb Solsrud of New London, Minnesota.
