What dose this word mean "WILCO" ?
According to my knowledge it's a company that made sim aeroplane.*
It means "
WILL -
COMPLY " to your instruction , for example if the tower at the final approach stage gave you the landing instructions prior landing and wanted from you to ensure if you are able to vacate the runway immediately after touch down because of the other traffic approaching the same runway , he or she would say :
VACATE RUNWAY IMMEDIATELY AFTER TOUCH DOWN TO THE RIGHT AND REPORT WHEN VACATED .. you as a pilot must show him/her that you understood what he/she said and will comply when this case will occur , and you do not have to say ALL the message like the way he/she has done , because the word "WILCO" will be so enough for ensuring understanding and can be as a Read back ...
Maybe the company that programmed and designed
WILCO airbus aeroplanes took this Communication phraseology as a trading name or a trading mark , maybe the owner of the company adore this word
