Oxfordshire plane crash horror as pilot dies
 
Pilot killed after plane crashes at British nature reserve shortly after taking off
Flying conditions had been bad at the time with torrential rain sweeping across southern England

Date: 15th January 2017
The man’s family were in the process of being told he had perished in the crash.
The light aircraft is believed to have left Turweston Aerodrome, north Buckinghamshire and then plummeted to the ground in Aston Rowant Nature Reserve, just over 30 miles south in Oxfordshire.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said paramedics and the fire service were at the scene in the reserve after getting reports the aircraft had gone down at 2.35pm today.
Torrential rain had fallen over the south of England for most of the day and when the aircraft took to the skies.
The spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: “Thames Valley Police officers were called today at 2.35pm following reports that a light aircraft had crashed at Aston Rowant Nature Reserve.
