لقي شخصين مصرعهم، أمس، إثر تحطم طائرة ذات محرك واحد، صغيرة، في مدينة هوريكان جنوبي ولاية يوتا القريبة من العاصمة واشنطن، بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. وأبلغ أحد شهود العيان، مركز سانت جورج للطوارئ، وقالت شرطة مدينة هوريكان، إن الطائرة كانت محلقة على ارتفاع منخفض قبل اصطدامها في منطقة نائية حدودية جنوب يوتا.

Police identify couple killed in plane crash near Hurricane

HURRICANE, Utah -- Two people aboard a small aircraft were killed Thursday after the plane crashed in the area of Hurricane.
Saturday, police identified the deceased as 56-year-old Shawn Ackerman and 49-year-old Bonnie Ackerman, both of Hurricane. They also stated the investigation into the crash has been turned over to the NTSB.
"We offer our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Shawn and Bonnie," Hurricane PD stated in a press release.
According to a post from the Hurricane City Police Department, the crash occurred around 1:37 p.m. Thursday. The plane was reportedly flying "very low" when it crashed into a remote area near Sullivan Knoll and Floratech road.
Police in Hurricane state the aircraft was a single-engine, two-passenger plane.
